The equipment is manufactured by TEI ROCK DRILLS of USA. And it is used for the roof and slope support of a tunnel which is 13.8km long. The hardness of the tunnel inner section is above 90 MPa (granite). And the drilling diameter is 40mm, drilling depth of 4.5-5.5 m. TEI MME260 “dig to drill” attachment is equipped 2x 360 degree positioner in order to drill any angle in the tunnel. The commissioning of MME260 excavation drilling equipment was done by Ougan servicemen within two days after arrival.
